Steve,

Funny, I still don't remember that street as Park. I can still remember my
PSU matriculation number from 1952, but not the street where I turned every
night for 9 years. :-)

The Lanco is a fun event. I used to play in it in the 60s...rotation then
was LCC, Overlook, Conestoga and Media Heights. About 1967, they added the
Host Farm. Took second in it once at Overlook to a kid (who later turned
pro) by the name of Bobby Huber. I had a 65 the first day and was leading by
a stroke or two. Lost my putting and went 75 the second day. Got in a
playoff with about 5 other guys and we all teed off on #1 (short par-5)
together...balls flying in every direction. I was right against the 3' rise
on the front of the green in two, chipping straight uphill to a middle pin
position on a steep back-to-front slope. Put it about a foot from the hole.
Others couldn't keep their chips close coming from the sides with the severe
slope.

Hope you can make it.

Bernie
