I'm fairly new to club-making and I have a question about adjustments to the lie of a wood. There has been a lot of discussion about the importance of testing and adjusting the lie of irons, but I'm unclear on how to handle this issue with woods. The materials I have read about fitting say that you cannot dynamically check for lie on woods. Is this true? Also, if you want to change the lie angle of a wood, how do you do it? All of the tools I see advertised as loft and lie machines only handle irons. I'd like to thank all of the people on this list who contribute their years of practical expertise to answering questions from people like me.
