Al,
Sponser? Then, access to your list for his promo is one thing, but how can
he claim you all his "dealers? Don't know what your rules are, but that
would seem stretching it to call anyone not trained in his equipment's
use nor actually "Peaking" shafts a "dealer."

I started to reply to an earlier post but stopped. I
guess now though, I really should at least mention some points.
Talimonti is a member of the PCS. He is also a corporate sponsor.
Therefore he has access to our members list. This subject has been
brought up on our PCS Chat site. It appears that some(?) of us were not
informed enough and that all is ok. Nothing improper appears to be at
hand, though some of us are in the dark. ;-)

JP, I think the term
Talamonti used in the article was "authorized dealers." Now, the
"authorized" part I can understand...since this guy would surely authorize
any PCS member to use his equipment. But the "dealer" term is something
quite different. There is a general understanding that a dealer already has
the equipment to do the work and an understanding of how to do the work. If
I were a PCS member and was listed incorrectly as one of Talamonti's
dealers, I think I'd have him remove my name. Can't believe anyone would
have the guts to just pick up a thousand names and use them with no
permission, so wonder if the PCS hierarchy secretly sold him the list...Al?
The secretiveness of technique and now the phony dealer list really blows a
hole in this company's credibility. Alan's WalMart-Target
location marketing "theory" just might have some merit, given Talamonti's
past with SST. Bernie Writeto: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----

- All,
- Apparently, Phil must have gotten his hands on the PCS membership
list, as
- several of the guys on Shoptalk (who are PCS members) are listed
as
- "certified dealers" for his shaft matching technology, yet most or all
of
- them have never even met the guy. How unethical is
that!!!
