Jorgen, I am not trying to steal your thunder and I admit that I am in no position to present myself as even a club maker yet but I saw that trick done years ago. While visiting with a neighbor and eventually a fellow golfer, I watched him change a set of grips using air and no solvent, took him less than 15 minutes to do the set. Worked like a champ even for putting the grips on as well. When I started doing my own club work I too use that method. I did find however that some of the old clubs I picked up at garage sales, one I use for practicing club making and repair, I did have to us a solvent to free some of the grips.
Great method, thanks for sharing the idea with others. -- ------------ Tom and Donna Mason Athens, Texas [EMAIL PROTECTED] ICQ #1294190
