Tom,

Just send me the plane fare and I'll come out to your miserable California
climate and show you how to hit a long driver. :-) A three club iron
difference? You DO
need some lessons.

I love saying that after a 92 on Monday. First and second times out after
the transplant I went 81 and 78...about as expected. Was hoping for a 75
Monday on my favorite course, but middle back tightened up on me warming up
and couldn't make a full turn. Couldn't get more than 230 on my drives and
hit short and crooked irons all day...couldn't bend to putt, so lots of
three-putt greens. Highest round I can remember, but it was still fun just
to get out and BS with the old pharts after sitting around for almost three
months. (Only lost $2.) Know I can improve on that score, anyway.

Geez, 36F, mixed snow and rain right now here in East TN. Have an 11:27 tee
time tomorrow, but 0% chance of playing. Oh well, if you'll send me the
plane tickets, I'll bring along a few demos and my back will feel much
better at 75.

Bernie
