Is there a standard for tip trimming that yields a standard cpm increase? For example, would trimming 5/8" yield 4 cpms higher?

No there isn't. Sorry. It would have been nice.

Most steel and some graphite shafts recommend 1/2" trim, and that usually gives about 4.3cpm per club. But there are so many exceptions that you really should look up the tip-trim instructions for each shaft. Better yet, make your own sensitivity charts using your frequency meter.

Good luck!
