| Those of you that did watch the Tournament on Sat. how many of you saw the part about Tom Watson's, Caddied for John Cook for the TPC. He was just recently DX'ed with ALS. Boy talk about a great attuide, I wish I could be as brave as him. He was just given 5 years, on the outside, to live and as little as 2 years min. I think that we as a group should contact the PGA and see if some type of fund is being collected to help defray some of his costs or to add a small amount to the trust fund that Watson is setting up for his family. What I'm asking is if I contact the PGA and there is such a fund how many of you would like to add something to it??? As to my own health, I now require a walker 75% of the time but even that's fading fast. I think that most of us old timers here started out as caddies so a small amount of payback at this point in our lives woun't hurt. RK |
