Guys

I've just retired from the day job and will be doing more on the clubmaking
front from now on. One of the plans is to set up a practice/hitting net. My
problem is that I have limited space so I have drawn up a plan for a wind
down design. Hard to explain but the sort of thing you see in outdoor
restaurant areas to keep out the wind and the rain. Operates on a pulley
system to let it down when you want it and to pull it up out of the way.

I know that we have discussed types of netting, cheap tarps etc. My real
question is how much clearance do you need from the wall so that it doesn't
hit the wall and yet not be so taught that the ball will spring back at you.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Cheers
Graham
