Hello all, I am going to be reshafting a couple of Taylor Made woods. Both have internal diameters of .410. One wants a .410 shaft - I was planning on using the Lite Revolution by SK, the other a .335 - probably a TT80. Since I don't feel comfortable doing a shim, I was going to use the adapting ferrule from Dynacraft.
Four questions: 1. How does a .335 shaft play in the .410 with the adapter. I'm assuming this is a non issue. 2. Where do I get a ferrule for the .410 shaft? 3. I need a new putter in the worst way. Would consider just about anything. I like the reviews on the PET by Maltby, but at $55 seems a little pricey. Any favorites in the 2-3-4 ball putter arena? Anyone tried the Dynacraft Copperhead Tour or Hypersteel? 4. Looking for a good fairway wood/shaft combo with a draw bias. The current Dynacraft LCGII/dynalite combo isn't cutting it. On the bright side, the SRVII/TT80 and XDS2 Professional/Dynamic Golds are staying in the bag. Played with them all season. Last fall Arnie and Dave T gave me some advice on hitting longer and straighter. While they we being sarcastic, they said more clubhead speed and the proper swingplane. Spent the winter lifting weights and worked on swing plane. Added 50 yards - thanks guys. I've noticed quite a drop off in emails this year - are people not building as many clubs? Brian
