And all I said was I use Devcon 5 minute epoxy?
Did I miss something here?
Yes, you missed what is below. You wrote that you use this on graphite shafts not on steel and as I hope you see, the 5 minute cure stuff is not as strong as the longer cure stuff. That's why the 5 minute cure is prone to failures.
Sorry for the confusion. I assumed you are using 5 minute cure for production speed and I am giving the full answer for production speed without the problems of future bond failures.

Hey!
Screw Arnie!
No thanks, I can do it myself by making mistakes in choosing the wrong product or tool for the job. Just trying to save some others the same embarrassment.
Who the hell is he?
Hello, it's nice to meet you! I won't flaunt my work experience, years in this business, or efforts to be of help to others who share in the same endeavors.
A friggin' golf club assembler.
Is that what custom club builders are known as?
What's his
station?
I guess it depends on which railroad you choose to get here.
Need directions, I'll be glad to help.
Pariah? Moses?
The only "parting of the waters" I strive to do is the dispelling of bull shit, misinformation and innocent lack of information. If methods are unconventional but successful I consider that worth passing on.
If a person has an opinion he should voice it
I am in total agreement!
without some asshole who
Sorry you feel that way! No offense taken.
thinks he's the only goddam clubmaker who ever "graced" these pages
insulting his opinion.
Of whom do you speak? Why such disdain for clubmakers?
Look y'all. What's so goddam hard about our chosen passion?
Hard is only what one makes of it. Doing it well is part of the passion.
Sticking heads
and shafts together is child's play. Chosing shafts, heads, grips and sw's
is simple.
I see the results of "children" playing all the time. Sometimes as we all strive to do something well it is wise to "learn from the experiences of others" to avoid potential problems.
I have learned from many in this forum and hope I have helped in return.
Thank you for your input.
I am certainly not pissed just puzzled. Private emails are always accepted, read and answered. Can I help? May I help?
