The Bang SF 3W (15°) face height is about 35mm at the center punch marks, rising to about 40mm about 5/8" toward the toe from the center punch marks. Sole is slightly rockered, maybe 1/4". Head is 3-1/2" face to back, and about 4" toe to heel...a nice sized head. It is a solid-hitting head off a tee, and not bad off the deck from a flat or uphill lie. It's tough to get up on a slightly downhill tight lie...unlike my Cydonia LCG 15° 3W. And, in East Tennessee we have lots and lots of hilly lies...have to hunt for the flat ones. :-) >Any reason I should recommend the SF instead? Any > comparison of specs (BangGolf doesn't list face height, but they're quite > similar otherwise)? Any experience with both? Haven't tried the Dynacraft heads lately. For my "fairway driver" and driver for short, tight holes, I use a Cydonia LCG 13° at 45" club length. A friend of my son named Bubba (really!) has one just like mine, but with an S-flex...he hits it 260-280 yards and has had some at 300. Head was $12 on closeout, shaft was $6 on closeout, and grip was 69 cents on sale. That was my "cheapo" success of last year. Bubba put his GBB in the closet and uses the Cy for his driver all the time...the Cy was outhitting the GBB by 20-30 yards and straighter. Bernie Writeto: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
