We're going over to Scottsboro to play the Goose Pond courses (Colony and Plantation) Thursday and Friday, then playing the River Course at Hampton Cove (our local component of the RTJ Golf Trail).
The common denominator is "flat." We've got a threesome of players over 80, so hills are not generally welcome.

Just one high tech component, Burgess. But it does require expensive alignment twice a day.
What course are you playing? Ever play Nob North outside of Dalton, GA? That's one of my favorites down in your direction. Always in good shape, interesting layout and as short or long as you need for a family outing.
