ShopTalk: Wedge choice

I am thinking about making some new wedges for myself and for a friend. We currently use Hireko XDS tour wedges, which are not expensive, and are not bad.   However we likethe idea of variable bounce in a wedge, and the only ones I know which have this feature are the SnakeEye wedges and the the wedges from Tom Wishon.   I very much should like to hear opinions about these wedges as there is quite some price difference. I know most comments about wedges I have seen the past year were very favourable towards the SnakeEyes, however at that time the wedges from Wishon Golf were not available yet...   Kind regards, Leo Noordhuizen
