Good Lord, Ron, your old memories are as contagious as a yawn. Now I remember working with a GE (?) machine as an undergraduate. Input and output were paper tape only. That was in the mid-sixties! We still are using the paper tape to load the programs in numerical control lathes. Wonder why American industry is in trouble?
