Check at the Golfsmith site.  They have all the shafts' trimming instructions there.

I recently purchased a set of Penley Platinum iron shafts But cant find any tip trimming guides for them, All of the other Penley shafts I have seen dont require a tip trim so I am guessing these should not be tipped. They are 40" R flex 100gm 2.2 torque 370 tip shafts. My experience with this type of shaft is limited, how would I accomplish frequency matching with them or is it even necessary, the variant is only 1-2 cpm and weight/torque tolerances are very tight. Any helpful experiences or advice would be appreciated. Thanks - Jim Letourneau

Subject: ShopTalk: Feedback on hitting area

Hello everyone,

I don't post very often as I enjoy reading post from the real pros.  I have had a small business here in Kentucky for several years working from my garage.  I recently purchased a PcPro simulator to help with my fittings and I am going to build a new building for those long cold winter months.  My fittings have all been outside as my garage roof is to low to swing inside.  I have seen some local second swing hitting areas, but I wolud like to know from you all what seems to be a good area of space to lay out?

Thanks,
Rick
