I suspect there is no authenticated police story that goes with the campus police report on their website. I don't know that the campus police simply didn't post the images they received in an Internet email - this is not a police report - it's a college website.
As I said, I've received hundreds of these reports and none have ever panned out. You can call the UT Campus Police and ask them for the name, phone number, detective assigned to the case, etc. of the particular city police department that reported this crime. I'd love to know since it's not named in the online article. I suspect they have none of that information. It would be named if this was a story in a newspaper.
Undocumented sources for crimes like this really make me a disbeliever. Sorry.
