-----Original Message-----You can use the wet towel method or as I do it with a tool I made by drilling, filing, grinding away the teeth on a cheapy imitation 5" visegrip plier. Warm the ferrule with your heat gun, grab the ferrule with the tool and twist the the shaft freeling the ferrule. The ferrule can now be moved up the shaft, pull the head in normal manner, sand off old epoxy from tip and slide off the ferrule.
