Hi, I match up my
assorted and sundry heads and shafts and build them with no tipping or butting
or gripping and pass out flyers at swap meets and mall's offering free jr
clubs, must be accompanied by parent, one per child. When they show up,
usually with Mom for the free club I measure the little feller for length and
let them know that I will have to cut and grip it and they can come back
tomorrow to pick it up. Usually Dad comes with little Willie to pick it up
and this gives us an oppurtunity to have people in the store twice for
essentially throw away items, while dad is there we ask him if he has his
club's in the trunk and if he does we say go ahead and bring your bag in and
let us check them while we are working on your son's new club, after freq
charting them and finding about 5 flex's in his bag as well as showing which
one of his clubs are floppers we now have a potential customer, and even if
this doesn't result in a sale when jr. is ready for a set then it is likely we
will get the business. David
