I am not sure if a head fatigues around 2-3k hits (wide range there) but I don't see the rip off. They tape them to preserve the new look. I buy a new car every couple of years, they all have some miles on them (3 or 4 minimum) and some have 100 miles. Now they make the car look like new but I can see this car has been driven before. Is it still new? I think so. But each to his own. I would ask you a simple question. Would you buy the driver without trying it? If not, what should they do with the driver after you have tested it?

Golf question....Is it true that modern drivers with thin-face titanium
plate start to fatigue after 2000-3000 hits...and if so how can these pro
shops tape up new clubs and allow customers to hit 30 balls then take the
tape off and sell them as new...they should sell them as demo clubs, but all
the big Domes do this...what a rip-off.
