We don't appear to have a committee.� It is possible that we do, but they haven't broadcast who it is.� I'm worried that it may be a guy who is the father of the course superintendent (they are not related to the owner's).� He was the handicap chairman at the course we used to play, so he may be doing the same thing.� The tournament committee is the Pro.� In fact, a couple of us were talking to him about ideas, and he is interested in getting a member's tourney committee formed to help promote the event (and other events).� This course is only in it's 4th year, with around 300 members.� Oddly, most members are very interested in tournaments, even though they are good golfers.� We need some time to build up the interest and comraderie that other older courses have.

Andy,
I think you have observed all the pertinent facts and have drawn the correct conclusions.� The kid is cheating and the Pro works for the cheater's dad.�� I would just boycott anything the kid enters and ask your fellow members to do the same.� I would find it intolerable if I were forced to play in competition with him under the guise of using a legitimate handicap system.� FWIW.

Is there anything else that can be done to put pressure on this guy with the USGA or something?� (I don't want to get him mad.� He's built like a brick outhouse and could kick the crap out of almost every one of us.� Heck, I think his girlfriend could kick the crap out of me!)� I am not complaining because his cheating hurt me.� I was not in his flight.� I'm bugged because of the integrity of the situation.� I was absolutely shocked to learn that he has not posted scores.� I think the Pro is probably afraid of getting fired if he crosses the owners.�
