ShopTalk: TM R5 40 Reshaft

A customer just brought me his  taylor made   R5 40 8.5 loft  with  a 
broken  shaft TM R5 S flex MAS 2 70  low torque tip soft . he wants it 
reshafting but NOT with the
same shaft which he said he ''hated''  when I asked why? he said he 
didn't- really know but thought it was the soft. tip. He wants something 
with a high bend point
and something that will lower his trajectory which is  very high and 
losing him distance.
 He has a swing speed of 120  tends to be quick. 10 hcap 28 yrs old
Any Ideas   for:
a) med ium price range 35- 50 $ US
b) more expensive 50 --100 $US
