Wow ! my physics is limited to archimedes Whose principle I still use to check the volume of clubheads. but If i could apply half your expertrtise to my golf game
shooting my age would not be a problem.
Don't bet on it!
Knowing how is only part of the battle. The muscle coordination to do it every time is another important part. I've always been a better engineer than an athlete, so my scores are always polluted by the residue of shots whose result is even worse than if I hadn't hit them at all but just added a stroke to my score. Never know when one of those is going to jump up and bite me. On rounds that I can pretty much avoid them, I have gotten close to par. I manage that once a year if I'm lucky. More often, my score is somewhere around bogey.
So if I live another 15 years without my game deteriorating (fat chance!), maybe I'll shoot my age.
Cheers! DaveT
