Last week my wife (12 handicap) was playing in a ladies friendly four ball with his wife (25 handicap, a new golf golfer, and a 35 handicap) .
lo and behold what should appear in the ladies bag but the Wall mart driver; to cut a long story shorter they all tried it with great success. The new golfer hit a tee shot 155yds -- a 50% increase in distance and my wife hit a tee shot about 25 yds further than she hits her 44" Calloway.

Later in the week I was up at his club and borrowed his club to hit off the first tee into solid headwind well over the ditch that needs 210 to carry (Except in the warmth of summer I lay up short with a 5 wood ) I thought it was just a fluke.

The next day could contain my curiosity no longer, a couple of phone calls ascertained that all Wall mart Stores had sold out except one so off I went found the two remaining andof course bought some other things that were such a bargain i couldn't resist them.
Into my ''shop"' with the deadly weapon to see if I could unlock its secrets!! Here's what I found 460 cc cc '' Hyper Titanium'' head'.
Aldila VX " intermediate flex" graphite shaft 350 tip . Grip '' NoName '' looks and feels like Winn but shiny and tacky feel.

Measurements Length 45 1/2

                        Total Weight 310 grams

Swing weight D--8.0
Flex 237 cpm. Face 1 degree closed(Ithink)

I took this thing out with me at the week end unfortunately our range is closed for the season so I played a round with it and spite of the fact I had earlier pulled a muscle in my back and the temperature never got above 5 c I reckon I was hitting it further than my custom built Snakes Eyes with a Fujicara Shaft that cost ME
$160 to build

So does anyone have any answers

why does it work for a very wide spectrum of Golfers? How do we market
against it except that it may not conform COR rules impugning that it wont
last doesn't work as my friend just go off to Wall mart and buy a couple of
extras

Regards All
