Spinetalk is a mailing list, much like ShopTalk. But you can't add yourself to Spinetalk; you need to be added by the group owner. He is Ed Johnson ( [EMAIL PROTECTED] ). Send him email requesting you be added to spinetalk.
GEA is a web forum. Go to http://forums.prospero.com/golfequip/start and add yourself. There is A LOT of activity on GEA, in a variety of "folders". I tend to read Golf Equipment and Clubmaking/Repair (that's two different groups) and skim Reviews. There are a lot more than that.
