Wishon quality is top notch, but I don't know if he has an iron with the specific design traits you are looking for. The 752TC, 939 and 991 irons all have 5-5.5mm offset in the 3-iron versus 4mm in the Snake Eyes Viper Tour you currently have. The 550C only has 3.5mm in the 3-iron, but that is a forged head, so you are looking at close to $30/head. I play the 752TC, which is a great head if you want forgiveness and help getting a higher ball flight, but it does have a fairly thick topline and noticeable offset. I recommend that you look at Golfworks, as they might have something with the specs you want, and I think they have distributors in Canada. Golfworks quality is comparable to or better than Golfsmith. Just checked the Golfworks site, and they do have a Canadian distributor. Looks like the head that best fits your description is the M45 progressive cavity back. It's form forged, has 0.1" (2.54mm) constant offset, but it costs $22.95/head. The good news is that if you order 3-PW, you get a free Golfworks staff bag. DOn't know if having a Canadian distributor will save you enough to pay ~$10 more for these heads than a cast cavity back from a different supplier. Also check out the Purefit irons at www.myostrichgolf.com or some of the Integra or Tech Power irons at www.lowprogolf.com, as I know that both of these guys routinely ship to Canada. If you are FGI golf forum (www.freegolfinfo.com) member, you even get a special discount, and joining FGI is free. Good luck.

I've only used Golfsmith and Dynacraft in the past, because I seem to like there quality. Has anyone had any issues with Acer or the Oxygen brand names. I was always under the impression that these companies were clones more than quality clubs. Am I incorrect? I hear that Tom Wishon clubs are very high quality but they are a little more priced and being from Canada, I have heard that the shipping has become a bit of an expense..getting the supplies across the border and all. I really would like forgiving cavity with a little LESS offset. My handicap is about 8. I made the new Snake eyes tour viper 5 iron. I really like the look at setup but the feel is not that great actually. Currently it's in a TT XL R flex. Any suggestions will be very helpful Thanks, Alan
