Perhaps this has been suggested before,
but while I was reading this thread the idea of freezing or quickly cooling the
hosel area on these stubborn pull outs might help?? I'm no engineer or
metallurgist but it seems to the cold would cause the metals to contract and the
shaft having less material may contract quicker than the metal hosel on an
iron. Perhaps this might help to break down the contact between to the two
pieces. From my understanding the heat is simply used to break down the
epoxy bound, but it would also cause the metals to expand.
I don't know how you would do this
quickly, safely and economically.
Perhaps it's just a silly idea\ with no
real merit?
