ShopTalk: harrison striper shaft

Help please.  I am just a hobby style club maker.  I have gotten myself into trouble trying to assist a young golfer.  He wants to replace the shaft in his Nike ignite 460 with one from his Titleist 975D.  The shaft he wishes to use is a Harrison stripper ( from the 975D).  The striper is a bore through.  How do I compensate for the bore through length on the Harrison shaft when I place it in the Nike head?  Please advise, I am at sea.   Thanks   Tom B     I've stopped 7,478 spam messages.
