If they're black, paint them with spray can polyurethane. If not black and you can't match the color, use a complementary color.

I have a question:

I recently bought a quantity of Loomis shafts. They were factory tip
prepped. The preparation; i.e., paint removal, extends 4" buttwards.
Too long. After hosel and ferrule I am left with 2" of sanded shaft. I
do not want to tip trim. Does anyone make an over-long ferrule or some
sort of spacer I can use? thanks...
