Dan. What is the reason for not adding weight that rises above the hosel? One supplier is selling lead to be rammed down the shaft which would mean that the  added lead would sit over the hosel. Thanks. André   On some occasions I have done this and then also added either pliable lead tip weights (can usually fit about 3-4 grams additional), or tungsten powder (about double the weight of the lead, as I recall) down the shaft, with a cork to add even more weight to the head. Of course, I make sure that I don't add weight down the shaft the rises above the top of the hosel
