We recently had a run of 19 or 20 days without sunshine here in
Michigan (I understand Seattle has had that many days of RAIN) and a
customer/friend sent me the following Golf Wisdom quotes that brought
the sun out for a few minutes.
It worked so well that we're supposed to be closing in on 50 on
Thursday so I'm going to try and sneak in a chilly 18.
Here's a few from his list that made me chuckle:
If you want to hit a 7
iron as far as Tiger Woods does, simply try to lay up
just short of a water
hazard.
Don't buy a putter until
you've had a chance to throw it.
Everyone replaces his
divot after a perfect approach shot.
It's not a gimme if you're
still away.
If you really want to get
better at golf, go back and take it up at a much
earlier age.
The less skilled the
player, the more likely he is to share his ideas about
the golf
swing
