Well I passed :)

I feel very foolish for not being able to get all of them right.

I missed
A. the number of amendments (that was a long time ago and I think my answer was correct for the last time I took a history course)
B. the number of impeachments ( and there was no excuse for me missing this)

I believe I will make these Qs  trivia questions at the dinner table to help my children understand the importance of where they live. They love to prove me wrong and often I use things like this in order to (and I hate to say this) supplement their education.

As I recall, Karl Marx noted that communism would never work until the populace was "properly" educated. He further said that adults of the time could not be, and suggested a gov run education facility to "properly" educate the youth so that the next generation would be willing to adopt the philosophies. Hmm, other than home education could possibly all other forms be within this realm.

Fodder for another debative session with my sister, who is Dir of Admissions to a noted college.

Think I'll give the test to her :)

How well would you do if you took a test about U.S. government?  Try this out - educational and fun.

24 out of 30 is considered a passing grade. I understand that 96% of all High School Seniors FAILED this test...AND if that's not bad enough, 50+% of all individuals over 50 did too!!
