New resident to the Phoenix/East Valley area, but here's some suggestions. Near where your staying is a decent executive course called Continental. It's run by American Golf (www.americangolf.com) They have other courses in a variety of price ranges that you should be able to get on with no problems. If you're looking for a championship style course, I'd suggest Kokopelli in Mesa. (Not too difficult to get on, and can be played for around $50.) Also, check out www.golf602.com . You can put in your areas and they will tell you some good prices at some nice courses. Any other questions, drop me a line direct.

A bit off topic...

Can anyone recommend a muni or easy course or two or
threee around Scottsdale? I'm taking the family and
one of them is going golfing with me a few times. But
he can't break 100 and would not be comfortable on a
high end resort course. Not to mention that we will
be happy to play anywhere so we don't need to drop big
bucks. It's not a "golf vacation". We'll be staying
by Chaparral and Scottsdale Roads so if a course is
close, that's even better.

Thanks.
