Ed,

I'm not Arnie but have blown on quite a few grips. The Lampkin Torsion does blowup very easily. There are also a couple other grips that have this problem. Have also had trouble with this grip twisting at the butt end when using tape.

Will be interested to read the replies you get.

Arnie,
You are undoubtedly THE expert with blowing grips on.  I picked up the following from another forum and wondered what your take on this is?

Lamkin Torsion control and GP Dual Durameters are very thin and can blow up very easily. GP DD and Lamkin Torsion control need solvent and double sided tape to prevent mo! vement when the grip is on. I've tried masking tape, bare shaft (that's been cleaned and degreased) and for whatever reason these grips will move with a little bit of twisting.

Thx,

/Ed
