This was an earlier explanation they gave me:
Static torque on most of the Ozik shafts is 3.5 or higher.
However, dynamic torque is close to 0.0 -- by far the lower than
anything else tested. That's the secret in the design: create low
dynamic torque at impact so the head stays
stable and allows for max energy transfer, but allow us to keep static
torque high so that there is "kick" and players can actually get the benefit
of a graphite shaft.<<
The TP7's are about $1,000, installed only.
The Ozik "Silver" series are about $400. They've got some of the same
material as the $1,000 model (Zylon, Boron), just not as much of it.
I've got one of these in my driver and they are excellent.
New Ozik Code 6 is $299. I've got one on order, supposed to be low
launch/low spin, according to Matrix. Very nifty soft feel paint
treatment on all of the Ozik's.
They've got quite a few of them in play on Tour in a short time.
Charles Howell III being one of the more well known names.
Matrix also has their new Studio Series coming out. I'll send out a
note once I get all the final pic's and specs on my site. They're
sort of reworking their entire line.

John,
I wanted to get your thoughts on the Matrix Ozik shafts, since you
seem pretty connected with MCC.
I've seen some testing/specs on these sticks (mainly the TP-7 and
TP-7x), and they are almost unbelievable - very playable composite
shaft with a torque reading of 0.0
Any info? Did you see the suggested prices? !!
