It seems a little different. My hips were clearing and facing towards target
before my downswing had gotten below parallel to the ground (don;t ask me
how).
The key was in my finish, my right knee was outside of my left knee by much
more than it should. Wasn't haven't issues with front foot shifting.

Was causing pulls at times with shorter clubs and hooks galore with woods
(at times topped hooks).

I just moved through the motions in front of mirrors. Often I started at the
finish and worked backwards through the swing, then would hold certain key
points.

While not necessarily the contributing factor to this, I found on my
takeaway and coiling up, my right knee (right handed) was pivoting just a
little.

This is by no means a Six Sigma certified process for improvement, but I
found if I concentrated on keeping my right knee still, and adjusted my
swing plane a little more upright, the issue was not apparent any more. In
addition I shortened my woods some to increase ball striking.

Instant from 3 wood duck hooks and no way to get a five wood into the air to
straight 215+ carry 3 wood shots and 200+ yd 5 wood shots off the deck.

I have put it to the test 2X this year after 3 years of affliction and it
has held together both times.

Mark,

The spin-out is the problem I seem to have. A lot of times my left foot
ends up pointing at the target, but more often than not it ends up pointing
way left of target. The turf under my feet often show a swirl pattern and
is torn up. Do you know of any cures for this?
