My dad picked up 20 extra yards after I put a Matrix Studio 65 "A" flex into his SMT455 head for him.  It's really fun to see him get excited about hitting the driver again.  He's pushing the big 6-zero, so distance has been one of the most problematic parts about his golf game.  I've also gone to a Matrix Studio 75 firm in Wishon 770CFE for my three and four irons, which has been fun as well.  They go miles further on slight mis-hits than the rest of my set (Titleist 692.MB).  I've definitely been impressed with the Studio line and will probably have to get an Ozik to try out in my driver here soon as well.

Any new clubheads/shafts that you guys have played this year stick
out as being worthwhile? Any company do anything creative/new worth

Tim's Id Raw stuff looks interesting. Wishon's rapid taper shafts and
some of the clubheads look cool.
The Matrix Ozik shaft line is excellent (value priced Studio line is
a winner, too).
The Nakashima HTech head with the interchangeable hosel has
personally saved me a ton of time and money when testing shafts.
Probably almost as important as new golf stuff, the new Bob Seger
album is out today and is great. His cover of Vince Gill's "Real Mean
Bottle" with Kid Rock would even get RK up on the dance floor!
