Subject: ShopTalk: .335 to .370 adapters
Date: Fri, 25 May 2007 02:07:31 EDT

Hi All,
Recently there was some discussion about .335 to .370 adapters.
This was related to installing .335 wd shafts in .370 bore irons or Hybrids.
I know I found a uniunit that was both shim and ferrule similar to the common
.335 to .350 adapters, it looked like this
http://www.billybobsgolf.com/adptwferr.html
But for the life of me I can not find it now.
I have in the past used Wishons springs and ferrules as well as the kitchen
sink TFlan style, but need something more economical, and quick.
I was quoted $3.75 for each spring, plus I still would need a ferrule.
That's too much and requires some skill.
I know I can pull a TFlan and Macgiver it but this is a large run, and I
don't want to fool with any time per pc, I need an adapter for about $0.50 and be
done with it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
David
