Hi myKey,
I have a Hawkeye gr iron shaft pull out that says firm, but it is 39 1/2" so 
that is either a 3 iron or 2 iron I guess, if your using it in a 4 and butt it 
to length I imagine you would get your R out of it.
Don't know how important it is for the customer to have it say r on it.
In this model head what ever the shaft length is, is the same thing as the 
club length, so depending on how long you intend to make it will tell you how 
much you can work with it in terms of cutting.
It has a near new winn xi7 grip.
