After a zillion reshafts of OEM stuff, screwing around with weight-sorting taper tips, ordering more than I need, I decided a couple months ago to stop using them except for replacing a single shaft or two.

I now routinely bore the hosels out (after telling the customer of the advantages of parallel tips, of course) and install spined and freq matched parallel tip shafts. It's a lot more sensible and a much better way to build a quality set of irons.

Enough of that OEM crap is more than enough!
