If you've done a late model Taylor Made, it's virtually the same hosel.

The G10 has a .350 hosel with a step at the top that is ~.400. Suppliers sell
a stepped ferrule for it if you want to be good about it. Or you can use a
collared ferrule which will center nicely in there, and if you want, wrap a
little masking tape to fill in the rest of the gap in the .400 step area.

I'm sure many of them have been reshafted with just a plain ferrule. Although
I'd think some tape buildup in the stepped area would be a good thing.
