I did a set of MP33's for a guy last year. They had X-100 Lites in them,
taper tip.I spent hours looking for TT X-100 Lites. I found a lot of parallels
but no tapers. I called the guy and convinced him he'd be better satisfied if I
bored out the hosels to .370" and installed spined, frequencied, weight-sorted
shafts. He agreed and is happy with the clubs.

BTW; the customer is a +2 handicapper who uses a 6 iron on a 198 yard par 3
at our course. Amazing distance with a "Freddie"type swing.

Since I retired, I am not on top of things as I was before. Basically
all O.E.M. irons use taper tip shafts in irons, right ? So I will need to order
them, for a set of Mizuno M.P.irons that someone is sending me to re shaft?
