Just for informational purposes.... Just pulled the tip from a Nike
Covert driver. Very straight forward pull. It has a quarter-round
ferrule at the top which can be replaced with whatever short collared
ferrules you used for older Callaway reshafts. There is a second
sleeve that slides up and down the lower half of the tip ( adapter). I
slid it down to expose the main(middle) of the adapter to my butane
torch flame. Didn't take very much heat before it came off and no
problems at all with the white paint fill. I think that the recess the
collared ferrule fits into is wider than the collar on mine so I left
some of the old residue in it when cleaning and just sanded out enough
to snug fit my ferrule in place. Hope this helps...Keith
