Hi Steve: The Wave shaft that I’m importing from Japan is one to consider. I’ve had more positive feedback from my customers with this shaft than any I’ve every sold via my web site. MyGolfSpy did a review last year and said “ Is this really happening?" in response to Hiskei Wave launch monitor numbers. (they picked up about 6 yards vs. their reference shaft they chose for their “best driver” of last year) http://www.mygolfspy.com/hiskei-wave-shaft-review/ <http://www.mygolfspy.com/hiskei-wave-shaft-review/> The wave section is a short tapered section towards the tip that seems to give a little extra “oomph”. They also improved dispersion considerably with it (as did GolfWrx). His swing is similar to mine, flex will also depend on the head he’s reshafting. The Hiskei shafts are pretty flexible and made for lighter (185-193g) Japanese spec heads so if he’s reshafting a 206g G30 you need to tweak things a bit. Happy to help you with this. Here’s more info: http://www.clubmaker-online.com/hiskei.shafts.html <http://www.clubmaker-online.com/hiskei.shafts.html> Price is $125 so not crazy expensive. John shoptalk
