Yeah man, its a bitch. About 2 months ago the cardiologist prescribed "Sayvasa," a blood thinner. I told the guy that I can't take blood thinners - stomach can't tolerate them. "Don't worry, this is new on the market perfectly safe." 9 weeks later I'm pissing blood. After drinking about a hundred gallons of water to flush out the system, I go to a urologist, who shoves a camera up my crank and finds normality. I raised hell with the cardio guy to no avail. He insists the drug is not at fault even though I wasn't bleeding before I took the drug. Jackass!
Then my back took a dump - spinal stenosis, bulging disc. That just before the sepsis. I had an appt to get shots in the spine area but because of the sepsis no can do. So now I wait - using a walker. Mucho ass pain, amigo. 2 weeks in hosp, about 10 gallons of antibiotics until they found the right one(s). Then a week of physical therapy, then home. Still aches and but better. Oh, the reason for the sepsis? Me. I had a callous on my foot under the big toe. I decided to cut it off with my handydandy little pocket knife. Oops! went too deep. Blood galore. Bandaged it up with a roll of gauze for 3 days, then giant Band Aids. But . . . too late. Dumbness reigned supreme. Ah yes, 80 years old (81 next month and dumber than a bag of rocks.)
