Just an FYI, it is usually helpful to the Debian package maintainer (and
also to other potential bug submitters) to tag bugs when they get
forwarded upstream.  This can be done using a stanza like the one above,
where the number after "forwarded" is the Debian bug number.  The
message must be mailed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (I have already sent
it there by putting the address in the bcc line, so that replies to this
message won't accidentally be sent to the Debian BTS).

Normally this is done by the package maintainer.  However, if you are
not the package maintainer and bring the bug to the attention of
theupstream developer, it is probably a good thing to tag the bug as
such.
