I have just completed pushing a series of changes:
a) *Many* defects in the uninstallers have been corrected.
b) The uninstallers now support a -n option, which prevents
them from clearing the product and from removing its
configuration from init/systemd.
c) Setting SANDBOX to a non-empty value in the environment or in
