Hi tom,

My rational for  removing  that option was at the time:

I couldn't find an explanation for the -p option, I searched
shorewall.org, checked the manpages and -p wasn't listed in the usage
function but I never thought of the rc files! :)

But with your answer it makes perfect sense; I've locally reverted that
commit and created a new one to document the '-p' option.

Is there anything else that I need to correct?

Out of curiosity what does the 'p' stand for?
