Shorewall Community,

It has been more than a year or so since Tom has announced his
retirement from the Shorewall project.
As a response to his announcement, the Shorewall Project Committee (SPC)
was created to keep Shorewall alive
and we would like the community to take a more prominent role in the
project.

If you have one or more of the following skills and are interested in
participating, we would love to hear from you.

- Perl language and an understanding of nftables (IPv4 and IPv6)
- Man pages and web site (XML and HTML/CSS/SSI)
- Portable shell language with some knowledge of grep, sed and awk
- Knowledge of git, and a valid GPG key for signing of commits, tags,
tarballs ...
- Release maintainer (performing a new release of Shorewall)
- Building RPMS and Debian packages
- Native English speaker, to keep the documentation consistent to help
contributors for whom English is not their first language

The friendly and welcoming Shorewall Project Committee! :)
