D-Link DFE-580TX is supported by the 'sundance' kernel module. It's
included in recent 2.6.x kernels though some distributions have it
included in patched older kernels (or as extra packages).

No problems at all, it just works (just check if your kernel has the
'sundance' module compiled). Well, and it has a reasonable cost per port.
