Hi guys im reading http://www.shorewall.net/ScalabilityAndPerformance.html#id2456106 about host groups, but when i add it to my params file and create the custom action it does not add the rules that i created in the action.
questions: on the params file HOSTS=192.168.0.1,192.168.0.2 enclosing IPs in "<>" gives me an error on shorewall restart. (like shown in example on ScalabilityAndPerformance) leaving the "<>" out does not give me any error. on the action.MyAction file ACCEPT lan:$HOSTS wan all OR ACCEPT $HOSTS wan all it does not work but i'm not sure to put "lan:" or it automatically detects the zone where the IP belongs to (as shown in ScalabilityAndPerformance) shorewall does restart without errors but rules specified in action.MyAction are not enabled. what am i doing wrong? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
